Gospel of Thomas
A woman in the crowd said to him, "Lucky are the womb that bore you and the breasts that fed you."
He said to [her], "Lucky are those who have heard the word of the Father and have truly kept it. For there will be days when you will say, 'Lucky are the womb that has not conceived and the breasts that have not given milk.'"
I like the way he tells it, spontaneous, to the point and interwoven with the moment he is indirectly, but directly very deep and determined to get his message across.
"Lucky are those who have heard the word of the Father and have truly kept it. For there will be days when you will say,”
“Lucky are the womb that has not conceived and the breasts that have not given milk.'"
This line is bold, brave and so deep it wowed me, and it must be awfully hard for anyone to understand this that isn’t seriously on the path. Because this line can play itself out in the world, the Afterlife and in the Kingdom of Heaven. This line is really spiritually sound and a direct hit to the mind.
When you find Eternal Life you will understand its deeper meaning, and although not a word will be uttered it will be understood by all.
If this line was about a dramatic time in life then it doesn’t apply to everyone nor is it a lasting event or spiritual. The same holds true for the Afterlife it simply doesn’t apply to all and it really should because this is a spiritual leader contemplating deep spiritual stuff. In the Kingdom of Heaven it does apply to all, and once you see that sacred place you’ll understand and see life as a short and rough transition that was necessary, but not anymore. You find your Eternal Home and see your Self as complete and pure, without compromise and your whole eternal Self wants nothing more, for anything else would be a downgrade and compromising. Why would you want that pain and suffering again?
If you found the Eternal Heaven while living “Lucky are the womb that has not conceived and the breasts that have not given milk,'" because in the ultimate unity of Heaven we are perfect and free from the toils of life.
Lucky is that Soul that doesn’t have to give birth, doesn’t have to enter another womb, for they heard the word of the Father and kept it.
Lucky are those who are Self-realized or enlightened for they heard the word of the Father and kept it, and now they understand what true purity is and where it resides.
The word is heard and understood by the lucky ones who find Eternal life while living via enlightenment, and they will have days where they will actually deny life and treat it like “the child of a barren woman (Nisargadatta).” Another saying that metaphorically describes the universe and our life as a product of the barren woman for God didn’t need a counterpart, a body or sex, and it all developed naturally out of the Eternal One.
We are not from the womb of another.
We are the child of God and although seemingly birthed by humans we are not human at all and our real parent is none other than the Almighty God, and it’s up to each Soul to rediscover this ancient bond.
Seemingly lost in the world once the deeply spiritual person bestows the divine grace of enlightenment it places them beyond the worldly chains, and in hindsight they see them as a temporary aberration and no one was ever lost.
Still and silently secure in your crib you never left the manger or the Father’s embrace, it just seemed like you did.
Your real home is in a place of everlasting tranquility, a place where no birth is given and no birth is necessary, lucky are you who reside there permanently and don’t have to enter the womb because you kept the word of the Father.
Detachment is the underling doctrine of this statement and although the teacher may treat life casually or as a hindrance they will also treat the living with great respect and compassion. But, they also see life as a dream from which they have woken, and their sobriety sees these temporary characteristics as addictive in nature and something that needs to be abandoned. The teacher has detached and gone through the ordeal already, they abandoned their physical and mental characteristics in order to receive the Fathers pure vision.
Despite all of this negativity life is nonetheless is a very important stepping stone for the cultivating of Souls.
It’s just your personal world that is strictly yours to behold and no one else’s that is on the line, and only you can dismantle it, because holding on to time related ideas and trying to gain entrance to a place where time is nonexistent is the dilemma that all must face.
You have to want nothing else but God and Eternity for all else is time based and nontransferable.
Jesus said, "Damn the flesh that depends on the soul. Damn the soul that depends on the flesh."
The flesh takes over thereby sentencing the Soul to limitations of the flesh and now the Soul depending on the flesh is damned by the mental and physical characteristics, which are all extras and binding to the Soul.
Jesus said, "How miserable is the body that depends on a body, and how miserable is the soul that depends on these two."
A body that depends on the body doesn’t recognize anything else in that equation, and since the Soul and God is unperceivable they are believed to be a figment of the imagination. And how miserable is the Soul that gets squandered under these conditions.
This connection between the Soul and the body sentences the Soul to mental torment where none really exists because you are complete and lacking nothing, but your Soul now perceives issues and limits that now define you. "Damn the flesh that depends on the soul. Damn the soul that depends on the flesh."
These are big lines that again teach us detachment and teach us to be “passerby’s” in the journey of life. The Soul mistakenly identifies with the flesh, damning it to the limitations of the flesh. Your Eternal Soul has been trumped by life and discontentment, but don’t let that reign supreme.
Damned by the body and mind in conjunction with the world the Soul must detach from this disorder in order to find its unity in the Kingdom of Heaven.
The mind depends on the body and the body depends on the mind, the Soul needs neither to survive but now connected it identifies with what it perceives and takes a back seat.
The Soul sitting silent and stationary in the energyless background realm of Eternity with no thoughts of its own becomes a distant victim to the unfolding scene.
Jesus said, "When you see your likeness, you are happy. But when you see your images that came into being before you and that neither die nor become visible, how much you will have to bear!"
The ‘s’ in the word “images” is a little disconcerting in this statement. There is nothing plural about the Kingdom and no image is different from the next, however he could be thinking about all the Souls that are in the Kingdom during this statement.
“When you see your image (the Soul, God and The Kingdom of Heaven) that came into being before you (before you and the universe) that nether dies nor becomes visible (for it’s Eternal and invisible to all except that which is Eternal, like the Soul), how much will you have to bear!” If you are in love with your human image and find out that it was false to begin with, not real and not your image at all, will you be able to bear that lost forever?
Will you be happy to know you are nothing but Pure Aware Space without form, without mind and without energy? No more feelings, emotions, thoughts, color, or movement and is this good enough for you? If it isn’t then you are denying the Father and the Kingdom of Heaven because as simple and negative as it may sound it is the underlining fact that awaits everyone and everything! How much will you have to bear in order to let go of the past because you invested heavily in what transpired and you like it, but now its become an attached burden. Can you handle that? You better for your Eternal life completely depends on that sacrifice, and in hindsight you will see it as just a flash, here today gone tomorrow and no one really got hurt.
Once you let go and see your image in the Kingdom of Heaven will you be able to bear that invisibility (no forms) to all and stay there, for any doubt, hesitation or look away lands you back to vulnerability in manifestation. Another life at the expense of your old life and the process starts all over again from scratch, because you couldn’t bear it.
The image you have now is not the reality of the situation and if you are ready to surrender everything that transpired for the one true image that lasts, then you are ripe for the Kingdom of Heaven.
I always enjoy these transmissionsbecause they hit home sweet home. I find myself dealing withn then fear of lettring go but I also realize that there is nothing to hold on to. I guess I'll just love the ride.

Enjoy the ride as much as you can but always remember who you really are and where your home really is.

Just finished reading the Gospel again and I continue to get something from it. The something is nothing but a very tangible nothing. Thank you for taking the time and energy to write this. It brings me back to reality, and this what counts.

Very tangible for sure, just because Eternity is without form it doesn't mean it is empty and without substance. An Awareness of being alive still persists, but without the physical characteristics that make us and objects different. It is a pure and subtle way of being that allows everything to take place on the outside, leaving the interior forever pure and undisturbed. You can't see anybody but you will undoubtedly know they are all there and accounted for, never to leave your side, and you'll also know for sure that you are as great as the greatest.
